PROJECT R.E.A.C.H. INC. was founded in 2005 by Richard P. Burton, Sr., and he is the Director. A man with a heart for human and civil rights. Richard served as President of the Allentown Branch NAACP for 15 years, President Pennsylvania State NAACP - (2) years and A former member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People’s (NAACP) National Board of Directors the nation’s premier and oldest civil rights organization for - (12 Years).
Richard is associate Minister at Epiphany Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida, he also is Chairman Emeritus, of the board of directors for the Civil Rights Museum of St. Augustine Inc., which is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in St. Augustine, Florida
PROJECT R.E.A.C.H. INC., is a grassroots organization to re-enfranchise members of the at-risk community and act as a voice for fair and proportionate sentencing laws.
We shine a light on issues surrounding the prison industrial complex, gangs, violence and the side effects to drugs and poverty. We also work to re-enfranchise families through education, advancement, counseling and housing.
